Director of the Buenos Aires Office - Jorge L. Leiva, Ph.D.
Dr. Leiva was born and educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from the Unviversity of Buenos Aires, School of Psychology in 1977, and completed his training as psychoanalist in the same country from the School of Freudian Studies. He has twenty five years of clinical experience, and was appointed clinical supervisor of the department of Psychiatry from the Interzonal Hospital of Acute Care " Evita".
Presently he serves as Clinical Supervisor for the Day Hospital of the "Ramos Mejia Hospital", supervisor for the Adult Services of the "Tobar Garcia - Psychiatric Hospital" and Supervisor of the Mental Health Association of Ph.D's of Lomas de Zamora-Buenos Aires. Dr. Leiva works in private practice and provides therapy for therapists - (Control Analysis).
During the last 25 years, Dr. Leiva has made national and international presentations in the area of Psychoanalysis, Neurosis and Psychosis with focus in Lacan and Freud Interpretation of Neurosis, Mental Health and Social issues. He published several articles with focus in psychoanalysis and mental health
